Goal Updates

1. Riparian Buffer

Discussion and update on Riparian Buffer as per Corey's draft.

Actions Items:

Kevin – Will make suggested changes to the draft

Todd – Will clarify language within paragraph 5

Khizar – Will explore potential penalties for non-conformers

2. Well Head Protection (WHP)

Update on Well head Protection Ordinance

Actions Items:

Corey - Will visit Denville in early 2008

Todd – Will visit DPW in early 2008

3. EC Budget(s)

Budget, goals, other line items: e.g. Green Building advocacy

Discussion of how ‘Green Building’ may best be built in ML. ‘Green Building categories’.

Actions Items:

Kevin – What shall be our ‘Scope of work discussion’? - compare with other municipalities. How shall we best educate the EC and the town?

Cathy - Will liaise with the League of Women Voters – EC members to go to meetings?

General comments

Deer Cull 2002 to present…

Parks commission – only do Deer hunting every 5 years. ‘Hot Shots’ are a good company to work with.

ERIs review

Who wants to review ERIs from other municipalities? Suggested dates will be sent out by Kevin? A Saturday morning?
