l Overflow control boards at the
Mountain Lake dam needed replacement.
l Discussion of the Canal
cleaning project. Probably cleaning
around Lake Drive bridge and the Briarcliff bridge. Lake lowering in Fall.
l Discussion of stone walls on
the lake edge. Discussion of property
lines on the lakes. Referral to the
various aerial photographs of Mountain Lakes over the decades and changes in
lake edges. Can be viewed at Borough
Hall.
l Allied Biological reported
that there may have to be alum treatment in several of the lakes, pending
phosphorus testing and algaecide results.
l Discussion of Eurasian Milfoil
treatment and balancing it vs.
damage to desirable plants.
l Discussion of lily pads at
Birchwood. Discussion of the Water
Shield
floating in the swim lanes.
l Discussion of Wildwood dike and Allied Biological demonstration
