< Moved immediately to discussion of algae in Wildwood Lake to accommodate citizen attendees. Borough Manager and Allied Biological began:

Mention of unique nature of each lake.

Discussion of rainfall, temperature, and nutrient historical data. 2007 had more large rain events, as presented. Discussion of cleaning with Hydrorake. Discussion of harvesting alternatives.

Discussion of treatments 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007. Much more treatment of Wildwood in 2007 compared to previous years. Expenditures exceeded the budget for 2007 due to Council’s effort to address Wildwood.

Discussion of algae species in Wildwood.

Discussion of limitations of aeration in a small shallow lake.

< Discussion of Crystal Lake waterlilies, fish population, catch & keep fishing, sedimentation.

< Discussion of budget process.

< Cleaning projects start 10/8. Discussion of lake review walk.

< Discussion of costs associated with increased treatment of Wildwood, both 2007 and 2008. Manager asked Allied to submit bill for 2007 excess.

< Discussion of Sunset Lake dam. No status change.
