June minutes approved.
 
Borough Manager:
Manager Tempest expressed his appreciation of working with this Committee and said goodby as he is leaving Mountain Lakes tomorrow.
Manager Tempesta introduced Chief Tovo as the interim Borough Manager.
Discussion of rains, dam boards, levels in Mountain Lake and Wildwood. Led by Manager Tempesta and Manager Prusina. 
Concommitant discussion of board replacement in the dams. Possibility of putting in a modern metal system. $137,000 price tag for both dams puts the project out of reach. Any replacement will require extensive coffering for Mountain Lake dam. Discussion of possible alternative processes and funding sources.  Little alternative outside Borough budget. Reviewing designs for keeping work in the hands of Borough staff
 
Allied Biological:
Fecal coliform failure at Island Beach 7/7/09, to be redone 7/8/09. 
High phosphorus in Shadow Lake.
Possibly delay in Mountain Lake alum treatment. 
Wildwood to receive alum treatment. 
Discussion of water lily treatment in Birchwood.
 
New Business:
Discussion of projects for the Centennial of Mountain Lakes. With focus on the lakes mapping project.
