Also discussed was the plan to encourage residents to plant trees on their properties rather than street trees. STC would consider using CerboÕs Greenhouses & Nursery (because the trees are locally grown) for the acquisition of trees and would issue a certificate for the planting of the tree as part of the 100 tree-100 year campaign.

k.    The acquisition and planting of hybrid chestnut trees will not be offered by the STC unless a suitable locally grown stock is found to be available.

4.    2011-2015 Community Forestry Management Plan- $3,000 of CSIP Green Communities grant money will be applied to the writing of a new Community Forestry Plan by John Linson. Ms. Emr suggested that the STC work closely with the Borough Manager as the plan is written.

5.    CSIP Grant: All plans must be sent as a pdf to the state with 2 signed hardcopies to follow. Mountain Lakes STC CSIP practices will be noted in Community Forestry Plan.

6.    2010 Goals and Objectives: Submitted to Council. Heather asked that revised Goals and Objectives be sent to all members.
