This room is graced with profusely carved and quartered paneling, a fireplace, and a large bay window having two tiers of arched windows looking out on a winter landscape.
It is furnished with a high poster bed with draperies, a carved blanket chest, a plain chest, a low table, a refectory table, a court cupboard, two high side chairs, two arm chairs, a two-tier side table, two candle stands with brass candles, one brass wall sconce, three oriental rugs. On the walls hang three miniature paintings -- a portrait after Hale, Interior of a Dutch House, after de Hoock and Van Dyck's Portrait of King Charles standing with horse and attendants. There are seven various small ornaments,. The ceiling simulates ornamental plasterwork of geometric effect.
