Board of Trustees

The Mountain Lakes Free Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees whose responsibilities include carrying out the terms of the Library trust statement, defending the Library, prudently investing Library assets, policy setting, overseeing operations, and financial management.

There are 11 members of the Board who are elected for 3-year terms.  Current members are:

The Board of Trustees meets four times a year on the third Thursday of the months of February, May, September, and November at 7:30 pm at the Library.  However, the meeting in Sept 2017 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 19, 2017, 7:30 pm at the library.  The meetings are open to the public.  Please contact the Library to confirm dates and times.
