April 2003 Issues

* The Borough Manager reported that the lakes are full but there is no flooding at this time.

* The main goal of the lake cleaning project in 2003 will be the cleaning of the Canal between Mountain Lake and Wildwood Lake.

The bulk of the work will be done in November and December, draining the Canal and using machinery to remove the leaves.

The brush near the Mountain Lakes Club was cut back by the DPW this past Winter.

* We will conduct some probing of the lake bottom this Summer to plan for future lake cleaning.

* The Manager has met with the USDA, which will be handling goose control activities this year. Egg addling will be taking place over the next few weeks.
