of annual walk. Picked Saturday
October 30th at 9:30 to meet at the parking lot at Borough Hall.

of goals. Request from Borough
office for 3 goals. Discussion of
dam repair monitoring, continuing long term plans of lake cleaning, determining
the proper water level for Mountain and Wildwood Lakes.

of expiring terms and need for continuity.
4The Cove
as part of the Centennial projects.
Remove invasive barberry etc.
Discussion of process.
Suggestion of emergent plants as well as the barrier plants. Discussion of need to prevent erosion
and runoff.

of dam work. Fiberglass spillway
boards still on order. Discussion
of leak repair in Wildwood.

discussed lowering of lake levels.
Lake level permit has been sought, approval imminent. Notification to lake owners coming when
we have permits. Borough will make
issues about lake encroachment clear.
Permitted to lower as much as two feet.

of Canal clean-up. Discussion of
obtaining access. DPW Director
discussed issues of access, damage to access properties, disposal of spoils,
all related to the Canal.

Director discussed other current work, provided report and pictures. New lake level gauges are in
production. Met with inspectors
from Converse. Inspected spill
ways. Opened flap gate on
cofferdam in anticipation of storms.
Cleaned out Boulevard storm water inlet on Wildwood. Lake level is currently 2+Ó above
Òhistorical lineÓ (so characterized by Wildwood Lake property ownersÕ
manifesto).

seasonal surveys.

Eurasian Milfoil in Wildwood Lake.
Takes about 10 days to show effect on plants.
4 $5,700
to increase aeration system in Birchwood.
$1,500 for further upgrade to compressor. Discussion of oxygen level decrease when Borough turned off
existing compressor when discussing relocating system to another lake. Clarification that the existing system
would remain and capacity would approximately double. Discussion of alum treatment and oxygen level history.
Sense of the Committee resolution that the aeration
system increase be budgeted in 2011.

of GrundenÕs Pond. Possibility
that Borough vehicles may be able to maneuver the Hydrorake into Grundens. Discussion of cost and Canal project. Budget issues in the hands of the
Manager and Council.
