ManagerŐs report:

4Deputy Manager passed out RFQ for dam consultant.  One of two bids, this is the one Deputy Manager is recommending to Council.  Discussion that RFQ does not commit Boro to specifics on each project as would a RFP.  Committee expressed its general sense that it approves of the process the Deputy Manager has followed in arriving at this recommendation.

4Discussion of access to Crystal Lake.

Allied Biological:

4Discussion of purple loosestrife issues.  Contributions also by Cliff Miles of Woodlands Management Committee.  Discussion of limited amount of loosestrife, difficulty of finding all of it.  Woodlands does not have a survey of affected areas; nor do other units of the Boro.  Discussion of possible allocation of responsibility for discovery and treatment by areas.  Discussion of property right issues concerning stands running from the water/Boro property into private property.  Conclusion: Woodlands will look for stands through the Boro.  Allied Biological will treat lake related plants.  The Boro will begin to develop understanding and possible attack plan.

4Permitting process discussed.  ML permits were submitted prior to changes in process.  May be good for 2012 under prior process.

4Wildwood sediment mapping.  AlliedŐs first field trial of new equipment was in Wildwood.  They learned that lakes as small as Wildwood can not be completed with this equipment.  There were odd results so Allied is going to manually check.  Discussion of Wildwood Lake levels.
