- Discussion
of areas to clean up in Fall.
Discussion of funding, allocation of funds to various areas. The Canal is the area in most
need.
- Discussion
of lake water levels.
- Measurement
of rafts around Mountain Lake resulted in questions about the surface area
of every raft. Discussion of
sizes, impact, Council authority vs. Lakes Management CommitteeŐs advisory
role. Manager will go back to
Council for discussion of how to handle whatever existing non-conformance
we may have.
Allied Biological
- Review
of alum treatment schedules and other treatments. Discussion of brown residue on
swimmers in Birchwood. Allied
Biological will sample and attempt to identify algae species or other
source.
- Discussion
of new treatment of water primrose (invasive species) in Canal. Presence
in other places in Wildwood.
There has been treatment resulting in reduction. The following link leads to a
video from BritainŐs Non-Native Species Secretariat addressing this
species (Ludwigia peploides) as an invasive in Britain.

- Discussion
of issues with water lilies in Sunset. Planned topical application control.
