1.There
were no comments from the public.
2.
March minutes were approved.
3.
Bonnie reports that everything is in order for Arbor Day. She has been work=
ing
on the agenda with Sean Dolan. Mr. Reid will suggest a location for his mot=
herŐs
honorary dogwood tree at Wildwood. Joan will mark the spot at the high scho=
ol
for her honorary tree, an elm.
4.
Deer damage is evident on 2 trees at the new fields, but the other new trees
look healthy. Tony will be consulted about the damage, possible protection =
and
removing the wraps that remain on some trees.
5.
Home Owner at 338 Morris recently lost a large street tree and requests a
replacement.
Pines planted at the =
water
tank have died possibly due to soil erosion because a retaining wall was not
constructed at the site.
Ann will inspec=
t last
yearŐs plantings when they have leafed out. Joan will provide a list of the=
se
trees and their locations.
6.
A tree was removed without a permit at 5 Point View Place and the owner has
paid $250 in restitution. The money will be added to this yearŐs planting p=
lan.
7.
Heather and Sue are working on revisions to the Setback Plan Application.
8.
Joan received information that we are 10-year members of Tree City USA and =
have
our new recertification. Heather will call about new flags and new stickers=
for
the signs.
9. Update of Past Meeting Items
A. Tree
removals are in progress and Joan will verify.
B. Tom re=
ports
that the Core training was excellent and lunch was very tasty.
C. Bow and
pansies are still decorating memorial trees. STC does is not the appropriate
enforcement agent to ask for their removal.

write an article for the H&SA Bulletin that explains the STC summer sur=
vey
of trees. She will email it to STC members for comments prior to publishing=
.

will look at 48 Ball Road to see if the appropriate tress were removed.
