The Mountain Lakes Historic Preservation Committee is charged with advising Borough Council with historic preservation aspects of the Borough’s Master Plan and advising the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment on applications for developments. The Historic Preservation Committee strives to safeguard the buildings and public spaces that make Mountain Lakes a unique community and educates residents by collecting and preserving artifacts and stories that help tell the Borough’s history. The Committee meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM in the downstairs meeting room of the Mountain Lakes Public Library. If you are interested in being considered for membership on the Historic Preservation Committee, please submit your name and qualifications to Borough Clerk Marcy Gianattasio. More information about the Historic Preservation Committee is available on the Borough Website
