Art at the Esplanade 11:00 am Art at the Esplanade Jun 2 @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm Art at the Esplanade—Sunday, June 2nd Mountain Lakes will host its 2nd annual open-air art show on Sunday, June 2nd from 11am – 5 pm at the base of Esplanade Park on Elm Street (just across the train tracks from The Station restaurant). Visitors will stroll the tree-lined heart of the borough, where more than 55 emerging artists will feature original paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, photography, and more. All art will be available for sale. Art at the Esplanade will also feature children’s art activities coordinated by the Mountain Lakes Library. And once again, musicians from Bach to Rock in Denville will fill the air with music. Annual Family Relay Races at the Mountain Lakes Club – OPEN TO ALL MOUNTAIN LAKES RESIDENTS
Races include: swimming, kickboard, noodle races, beach ball & inner tube relays, & annual lake swim.
9pm: Fireworks display will take place over Mountain Lake. Island Beach will be open for viewing. Please anticipate parking congestion and consider walking or carpooling.
Each year the borough relies on personal donations to offset the cost of the fireworks. Please consider making a Donation this year. Donations can be sent to Borough Hall, 400 Boulevard, Mountain Lakes NJ 07046. Please make checks payable to “Borough of Mountain Lakes” and write “Fireworks” in the memo.
In case of severe weather, updates regarding the event will be posted on July 4th on the
Borough Website.
Important Information Regarding Midvale Boat Docks for 4th of July: Please Read: Due to the storage of the fireworks on Midvale dock on July 4th, residents will not have access to any boats from approximately 9am-7pm. The launch will be closed again from 8pm until approximately 30 minutes after the fireworks show. Thank you for your cooperation.
Important Information Regarding Island Beach Parking Lot for 4th of July: Please Read: The parking lot at Island Beach will be cleared at 5:30 pm on July 4th. It will re-open once the MLPD have secured the area.

Khizar has been a resident since 2007 with his wife Nadia and two teenage sons. He has been an active volunteer for Mountain Lakes, and has served as Environmental Commission Chair, Zoning Board Vice-Chair, Economic Development Committee member, and little league coach.
