Community Jazz Vespers @ The Community Church of Mountain Lakes
Feb 28 @ 5:00 pm
The Community Church of Mountain Lakes announces a new gift to the wider community, a gift to refresh and renew. Community Jazz Vespers is beginning on Sunday, 28 February at 5 pm. Community Jazz Vespers will be a relaxed time of reflection and music based in traditional Christian worship but with a bit of improv, suited to our time and to the jazz theme. This monthly musical experience will feature Moments Notice, a professional jazz ensemble from Princeton, NJ. It will be held on fourth Sundays of the month with the exception of Easter Sunday. Community Jazz Vespers welcomes people of all faith traditions as well as those who consider themselves spiritual but not religious or who are just not sure. The idiom of jazz welcomes multiple and individual expressions of faith, of seeking and of questioning. The Community Church of Mountain Lakes is located at 48 Briarcliff Road in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey and is a member congregation of the United Church of Christ.
